Very friendly service. The food was barely quick and very tasty. There is something for every taste. We'd love to come back again.

Generally nice location on the water, second visit, but the service was a little overwhelmed both times. For the current visit there was a long wait, then the food and drinks came late, and unfortunately a drink order was totally forgotten until we pointed it out. The operation certainly tried hard, but the organization and coordination in the background must be optimized. Apparently the controlling hand is missing. In addition, various tables were not covered / cleaned, although new guests kept coming. We will go to another restaurant in Freyburg next time.

The castle is very beautiful and the museum is very interesting. However, the castle restaurant left a lot to be desired. Waited 3/4 h for the food. Only had pasta and tarte flambée. Was apparently lunch break in the kitchen. It is a shame but a nice facility

One of the few restaurants that actually inspire again these days. You can sit very comfortably at the Unstrut on the terrace and eat and drink. Even if the steaks are too small for me personally, I have been enthusiastic about their quality and taste for a long time.

A large restaurant with a terrace and bowling. From the terrace you have a great view of the Unstrut, the weir and numerous paddlers as well as the Neuchâtel. The food is ok, but not great, although the menu is not large. But there are dishes for everyone that are somewhere between regional and Italian. The gorgonzola sauce with my gnocchi somehow didn't taste as if it was homemade. But the prices are also within the normal range. Of course, the house is crowded in the evening and so you have to wait a bit for dinner. Drinks are there very quickly and the staff was super nice.

The food was delicious, unfortunately craftsmen worked during lunchtime. That should be avoided. Prices are okay and the service is swift.

Not as bad as the reviews suggest. The food was good, only the service could have been a bit more attentive, especially since there was hardly anything going on. But overall not bad and a nice ambience.

Unfortunately one of the few places along the route for water hikers. Not recommended on weekends. The operation seems to be completely overloaded. We were served multiple times the wrong drinks and food. When we were told that we had not ordered this, the response was rather swift.

Fantastic view, good wines,... by the way the menu is very small

Food very tasty. Some small portions for hungry guests. Reservation worked well. Should be done in the summer too. It was well attended.

Food delicious. Staff very friendly. However, the starter salad was contaminated with soil. Hopefully only an isolated case! Otherwise, great views of the vineyards and the Unstrut. Price level lifted a bit.

The restaurant has had a new owner for two months. New owners, new ideas, new kitchens, new services. The restaurant is beautifully located on the Unstrut and is ideal for excursions or some relaxation on summer days. The food is rich and tasty. The service is also quick and friendly. for people of the cone there is also a place for you. There is a special room for events of around 100 people.
